We are happy to announce that Stanley Marketplace is open again! Our current hours indoors at Stanley are 7AM to 9PM every day.
Most Stanley food and beverage businesses will continue offering curbside pickup and delivery via our Stanley To Go program throughout this summer. Most of our food businesses have re-opened their patios and indoor spaces at Stanley.
Please be patient and understanding! These are unusual times, especially stressful for small businesses and employees, we have tons of new protocols we’re required to follow, and we’ve got 50+ businesses here who will all take their own unique approaches to being open again. We will all learn and adapt as we go.
The health and safety of our guests and employees is paramount at this time, and always. With that in mind:
•Masks must be worn at Stanley by people over 3 years of age, indoors and outdoors.
•Masks must cover a person’s nose and mouth.
Obviously you can’t wear a mask while you’re eating, but we expect guests to wear a mask while ordering and getting their food, while taking their food to an outdoor table, while walking through the marketplace, while hanging out here, etc., basically at all times when you’re not actively eating or drinking.
We know some people don’t like wearing masks. We know some people won’t go places where masks are required. That’s fine! If you don’t want to wear a mask, please don’t come to Stanley right now! We love you, but we love our employees, too, and one of the best, proven ways to help keep our employees safe — all 500 or so of them! — is to have everyone who comes here wear a mask. For us, this is essential right now.
•Six feet of distance is required between guests who aren’t together.
•All children 12 and under must be supervised by an adult at all times.
•No groups larger than 10 people may congregate inside or outside at Stanley.
We are following these and other guidelines to keep our employees and guests safe, and to comply with local and state officials. Thank you for your cooperation.
We have to cap the number of folks inside Stanley at one time to 50% of our normal capacity, and to help with that, we’ve added door counters that give us live updates of how many people are in the building at any given time. We don’t expect to reach 50% capacity at one time this week, but if we do, we’ll close most entrances other than our biggest one and then follow a one-in, one-out system.
We’ve added multiple new systems and protocols to help maintain a clean and safe environment here:
•We’ve got sanitizer stations throughout the building.
•Our water fountains are closed for now.
•We’ve switched our toilet paper dispenser to a single-use system that reduces contact.
•Please wash your hands often before and during your visits to Stanley.
True story: re-opening a giant marketplace while this pandemic continues is a big and complicated undertaking. We’re getting ideas and advice from our community of biz owners, a couple of infectious disease specialists, and several public officials from the City of Aurora, Tri County Health, and beyond. We’re also talking with the folks who run other food halls around metro Denver. We’re going to do our best to provide a wonderful experience to everyone who comes to Stanley, and we hope you’ll continue to support our local small businesses as much as you can.
Thanks for reading. The health and safety of our employees and our guests are so important to us. We are thrilled to be open again, and we are committed to staying open as long as we can do so safely.
