Molino Chido’s Chef Michael Diaz de Leon Among Elite in CBS Culinary Competition

Chef Michael Diaz de Leon of Molino Chido has been selected to compete on "America's Culinary Cup," a new CBS culinary competition series featuring 16 of the nation's most decorated chefs battling for the largest cash prize in culinary television history.

Chef Diaz de Leon joins an impressive lineup that includes six Michelin-starred chefs, two Bocuse d'Or medalists, two James Beard Award winners, and 14 James Beard Award nominees. The competition, premiering Wednesday, March 4 at 9:30 PM ET/PT on CBS, will test these elite chefs across 10 culinary commandments including meat, vegetables, sauces, dessert, and innovation.

Hosted by Emmy Award-nominated food expert Padma Lakshmi and judged by acclaimed chefs Michael Cimarusti and Wylie Dufresne, the series promises to be the ultimate test of culinary excellence. Chef Diaz de Leon will represent Stanley Marketplace and our local culinary scene on the national stage, competing against some of the country's finest talents.
