Marketing & Events Coordinator
Location: Stanley Marketplace, Aurora, CO (on-site)

Reports to: Community Experience & Events Manager, with a dotted-line relationship to the Marketing Director
Compensation: $52,000–$62,000 base, depending on experience
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Marketing & Events Coordinator is the daily executional engine of our marketing team. You'll own the day-to-day production of content across social, email, and web, and support event promotion and execution. It's a fast-paced, hands-on role, ideal for someone early in their marketing career who's hungry to grow, comfortable with a camera, and excited to wear many hats on a small team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Social Media
Plan the social media content calendar in partnership with the Marketing Director, who sets overall social strategy.
Create and publish content across the marketplace's social channels (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.).
Capture photo and short-form video content at the marketplace on a regular cadence.
Monitor all social accounts day-to-day: respond to comments and DMs, evaluate and accept collaboration requests, monitor brand mentions, and engage with followers.
Coordinate the social calendar with events, campaigns, and tenant activity.
Email Marketing
Produce and send the marketplace's regular email newsletters.
Manage the email list day-to-day including segmentation, list health, and subscriber growth, within the strategy set by the Marketing Director.
Website & SEO
Maintain website content including events listings, tenant directories, news, and other regular updates.
Execute basic on-page SEO best practices on new and existing content.
Flag larger website needs to the Marketing Director.
Design Support
Produce graphic design work for social, email, web, and event needs under the creative direction of the Community Experience & Events Manager.
Build design skills over time with mentorship from the Community Experience & Events Manager; final approval on creative work flows up through the Marketing Director.
Use design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or equivalent) for day-to-day visual content production.
Event Support
Partner with the Community Experience & Events Manager on event promotion across social, email, and web.
Provide on-site support at events including content capture and social coverage.
Help with event setup, attendee engagement, and other hands-on needs as capacity allows.
QUALIFICATIONS
1–3 years of experience in marketing, social media, content creation, or a related field (internships count).
Strong writing skills and a natural ear for brand voice.
Comfortable shooting and editing photo and short-form video on a phone or basic camera setup.
Some graphic design experience required; proficiency in Canva and basic familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, or InDesign) expected. The Community Experience & Events Manager will provide creative direction and mentorship.
Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, email platforms (Mailchimp, Klaviyo, or similar), and basic website CMS tools.
Highly organized and able to juggle multiple deadlines.
Friendly, professional, and comfortable interacting with tenants, customers, and the public.
Comfort working occasional evenings and weekends for events.
Bonus: video editing skills, photography eye, prior experience working in retail, hospitality, or community-focused environments.
Success Looks Like
The marketplace has a consistent, high-quality, and engaging presence across social and email channels.
Events are well-promoted and well-attended thanks to strong cross-channel coordination.
Tenants feel the marketing team is responsive, easy to work with, and a real partner.
The Coordinator is learning, growing, and developing into a bigger marketing role over time.
