Since 1978, Wax Trax has specialized in bringing the best in independent music to Colorado. In the 70s that meant being one of the only stores in Denver importing Punk and New Wave from England. That search for the latest and greatest expanded, eventually becoming the widest and best selection in the city and one of the pillars of the local music scene. Their outpost at Stanley Marketplace is small but mighty, pulling the most popular and coolest used and new records, cassettes and CDs directly from their main store.
