Create your own one-of-a-kind tulip handle mug at Friend Assembly with a sweet perk! We're so excited to have a pop-up coffee cart in the studio for this class, offering coffee, chai, and espresso drinks. Plus, you'll receive a token to bring into Jubilee Roasting Co. with your finished mug for a free coffee!

In this 2.5-hour handbuilding workshop, you'll learn slab construction techniques to craft a fun, sculptural tulip-shaped handle. We'll add surface details and finish your handles with minimal glazing for a pop of color. To complete your piece, you'll choose from our selection of house glazes, and we'll take care of the final dipping after the bisque fire.

What You Can Expect

• Hands-on instruction in slab construction and handbuilding techniques

• One drink included from our pop-up coffee cart (coffee, chai, or espresso)

• A token for a free coffee at Jubilee Roasting Co. when you pick up your mug

• Choice of house glaze color for your finished piece

• Aprons available (but dress to make a mess!)

Please note: All pieces go through a long drying and firing process that takes between 2.5–3 weeks (no explosions!). You'll receive an email when your work is ready for pick up.
