Fall Break Pottery Mini Camps at Friend Assembly

Ages 10-15 | 1PM-4PM | Altered Wheel Throwing

Handbuilding Class (Ages 5-10)

Learn pinch pots, coils, and slab construction while exploring texture, functionality, and form. Perfect for all experience levels and fine motor skill development!

Altered Wheel Throwing (Ages 10-15)

Master wheel throwing basics—centering, opening, and pulling walls—then add sculptural elements using handbuilding techniques. Follow themes or create your own artistic vision!

November 24-26 (3-Day Camp): Fall Trees & Autumn Animals

  • Ages 5-10 (Handbuilding): Create fall leaf bowls or trees using leaf impressions and plant pressings, plus adorable autumn animal planters. Construct on Days 1 & 2, glaze on Day 3.

  • Ages 10-15 (Wheel Throwing): Make fall-themed pieces on the potter's wheel including leaf bowls with autumn colors, patterns, and fall motifs of your choice.
