The Outside Story: Patio Season at Stanley

Eat + Drink • Spring 2026

Stanley Marketplace's Best Kept Secret? The Patios.

You already know what it feels like inside Stanley Marketplace. But step outside and there's a whole other side to this place. Mountain views, cold drinks, good food, and the kind of afternoon that disappears in the best possible way. From quiet corners to spots that fit the whole crew, the patios here are worth knowing about. Here's your guide to all of them.

Fine Dining

Chef Caroline Glover built Annette around a simple idea: sit down, eat well, and be her guest. The patio is one of the best places to do exactly that.

The feel

Warm and unhurried, the kind of place where you're not just a diner, you're a guest. Caroline means that sincerely.

The space

Covered with retractable walls for any weather, seats up to 25, and outfitted with both fans and heaters so you're comfortable year-round. Hanging plants, climbing hops, and cozy blankets make for a lovely ambiance no matter the season.

Great for

Date nights, special occasions, or any time you want a meal worth lingering over.

Menu highlights

Chef Caroline Glover cooks scratch-to-table over a wood fire, honoring the producers behind every ingredient. You can taste the care in every bite. The wine and cocktail list is just as thoughtful, and if you can make it on a Tuesday, happy hour runs all day.

Founded by Mark Shaker, the same person who dreamed up Stanley Marketplace itself, Stanley Beer Hall feels like the heart of the whole thing. Because in a lot of ways, it is.

The feel

Casual, cozy, and endlessly welcoming, the kind of place that works just as well for a family dinner on a Tuesday as it does for a group of friends on a Friday night.

The space

One of Stanley's biggest patios, covered and heated year-round, with a newer uncovered area for when you want full sunshine. West-facing mountain views, misters in summer, heat in winter, and enough TVs to catch every game.

Great for

Groups, families, sports fans, anyone who takes their burger seriously.

Menu highlights

Elevated comfort food, including award-winning burgers, sandwiches, wings, salads, and solid vegetarian and allergen-friendly options. Then there are the 51 self-pour taps, featuring beer, wine, craft cocktails, and non-alcoholic options that rotate with the seasons.

Mediterranean
🐾 Dog Friendly

Chef Chase and front-of-house Charlie have been friends since summer camp, and their sun-drenched patio feels just like that: the kind of place where good food and old friends belong.

The feel

Breezy and social, with a Mediterranean warmth that makes two hours feel like twenty minutes.

The space

A sunny, open-air patio with flexible seating for anyone from a pair to a larger group. Patio seats are first-come, first-served, but if you book inside and want to move outdoors, leave them a note or call ahead and they'll take care of you.

Great for

Long lunches with friends, laid-back dinners with family, groups with everyone from the wine nerd to the cocktail curious.

Menu highlights

A modern spin on Mediterranean: fresh ingredients, bold flavors, equal parts comforting and craveable. The wine list is expansive and well-curated, and the cocktail program holds its own right alongside it.

Entertainment
🐾 Dog Friendly

An 8,500 square foot patio, sweeping Rocky Mountain views, live music, beach volleyball, and virtual golf on 400 legendary courses. If you can't find something for everyone here, you might need to find new friends.

The feel

Lively and uniquely designed, with something for everyone in your crew, even the kids.

The space

One of the largest patios at Stanley, with mountain views that earn their reputation. A stage for live music, a sand volleyball court, and plenty of room to spread out. Inside, 12 Trackman-powered virtual golf bays and two bar areas round out one of the most unique setups in Colorado.

Great for

Groups, families, corporate gatherings, special events, golfers, non-golfers who just want a great cocktail and a good time.

The feel

Lively and fun, with the kind of comfort food energy that makes you want to order more than you planned.

The space

Fully outdoors with umbrellas for shade, right under the iconic Stanley aviation sign. Garage door-style windows open up to the vibrant, colorful interior, so even outside you feel like you're in the middle of the action.

Great for

Families, noodle lovers, anyone looking for a genuinely fun meal.

Menu highlights

Deli + Pizza

Josh Pollack grew up in the suburbs of New York dreaming about bagels, lox, and a really good slice. Lucky for all of us, he brought that delicious fare to Stanley.

The feel

Warm and neighborhood-y in the best New York deli tradition — busy, a little buzzy, and completely unpretentious.

The space

A large wrap-around patio with sliding glass windows that blur the line between inside and out — roomy enough for the whole family and lively enough to feel like something's always happening.

Great for

A quick bagel or lunch sandwich before making a day of it, families fueling up, solo coffee and a schmear on a slow morning, or a place to settle in to get a little work done.

Menu highlights

Authentic New York-style deli from 7am to 3pm with bagels, schmears, house-cured fish, and latkes. At 3pm, Famous Original J's Pizza takes over with Brooklyn-style pies. Two concepts, one patio, zero complaints.

Coffee
🐾 Dog Friendly

Andre Janusz came back from California with a head full of coffee knowledge and a simple idea: great coffee for great people. Stanley hasn't been the same since.

The feel

Relaxed and genuine, the kind of coffee shop that feels like a neighborhood spot because it is one and has been since Stanley opened its doors.

The space

Outdoors, near Stanley's main southeast entrance. A great perch for watching the world go by. Open daily until 5pm.

Great for

Catching up with a friend, getting a little work done, or just starting your day right before exploring everything Stanley has to offer.

Menu highlights

Expertly roasted coffee and homemade pastries. Logan House has been perfecting their craft since the early home-delivery days, and it shows in every cup. Simple as that.

Brunch

Denver's most beloved biscuit spot has earned Best Biscuit and Best Breakfast in Denver, and one bite will tell you exactly why the hype is real.

The feel

Easygoing and a little playful, the kind of place that puts you in a good mood from the moment you sit down.

The space

Perfectly perched near Stanley's main southeast entrance. Great people-watching, a little outdoor gaming, and just enough buzz from the comings and goings to keep things lively. Uncovered but shaded for most of the day.

Great for

Lazy weekend mornings, families, anyone who believes brunch should come with a cocktail option.

Menu highlights

Southern-inspired biscuit sandwiches and breakfast plates made almost entirely from scratch: the biscuits, the gravy, the jam, even the pickles. At 3pm the kitchen pivots to Bar DBC, with salads, chicken sandwiches, and burgers. The full bar runs all day, and yes, breakfast beers are very much on the table.

Dessert
🐾 Dog Friendly

Some things just make people happy. Ice cream is one of them, and Sweet Cow has been making Colorado smile for years.

The feel

Pure, simple joy. The kind of place that puts a grin on your face before you even get to the counter.

The space

Uncovered patio with seating on the west side of Stanley, with plenty of open space for the kids to run around while the grown-ups enjoy a scoop in peace.

Great for

Families, post-dinner treats, anyone who believes ice cream is always a good idea.

Menu highlights

Sweet Cow keeps it simple and keeps it good with rotating flavors, quality ingredients, and a treat for everyone including the dog. Ask for a pup cup: a cake cone with a shot of homemade whipped cream. Everyone gets a treat.
