Mother's Day Weekend at Stanley: How We're Celebrating the Moms

Mother's Day always sneaks up. One minute it's spring break, the next minute you're staring down a Sunday with no plan and a mom who deserves better than a last-minute card.

Good news: the Stanley community went all out this year. Workshops, brunches, bouquets, bonbons, and a flower subscription that gives back. Here's the whole weekend, sorted by what you need.

SPOIL HER LIKE THE QUEEN SHE IS

A bouquet you helped pick. A wine she didn't know she liked. Chocolate she'd never buy for herself. This is the easy stuff.

Poppy & Pine is open Sunday, May 10, 9am–5pm for build-your-own bouquets. Particularly great if the kids want to do the building while mom sleeps in. Visit →

True. is pouring bubbles and serving bites all day Saturday, May 9. Spend $150+ and get a free Geometry towel ($20 value). Stop in →

Village Farm at Stanley is opening enrollment for their 2026 Flower Subscription. Bouquets are grown and arranged by participants in the Village Exchange Center's Urban Farm Immersion program, which trains local immigrants and refugees in sustainable agriculture. WHAT TO EAT

Some moms want to be cooked for. Some want to be left alone with a bagel and a quiet kitchen. Stanley's got both.

WHAT TO DO

The best gift is sometimes a thing you do together. Sometimes it's two hours alone with clay. Stanley's got both of those, too.

Friend Assembly is hosting a wheel-throwing workshop Friday night with a glass of wine in your hand. Beginner-friendly, 21+, and one of the most quietly great date-night-with-mom ideas of the weekend. Friday 5/8, 5:30–7:30pm. Sign up →

Email admin@mindcraftmakerspace.com to reserve.

To every kind of mom in our community, the ones who pack the snacks, send the texts, hold the whole thing together, thanks for being you. See you this weekend.
